Hi. Is the diff mounted below the parcel shelf in front of the fuel tank? I Need to gain and create easy future access to the top mount. Btw my interior is already stripped cos it's a sprint car so cutting out the fibreglass shelf and then making a slightly larger panel to cover he hole will be fine. Tia. Jes

Yep, under the fibreglass shelf.

You can use a jigsaw but the fibreglass is so thin there that you can use a padsaw.

I reused the panel that I cut out with 4 small plates pop rivited to it and used some sound deadening quilt under the carpet afterwards.

Right. I have cut out the rear parcel shelf which gives great access and. When rocking the car backwards the drivers side of the diff lifts up by an inch! It he chassis mounts and tubes are fine but I think the drivers side bolt has sheared. Must be something to do with my driving style (-: Thanks for the advice and threads.

Hi mark, I hope the photo was useful. Blyton was great. It is a brilliant circuit with huge run off so you can be a complete hooligan. i beat the tvr lap record by 3 seconds so pretty chuffed with that. . see link for my in car video. http://youtu.be/Bn1UqNzUEFE. Cheers Jes

Hi there Jesfirth, the bolts are imperial 7/16" unf x 6 1/4"! If you have trouble getting them they are a Land Rover part used on the series Defender models. I know some TVR parts outlets charge the earth for them (£16 or so) so be wary. I had a couple made up in stainless when I took my diff out for refurb. If you get stuck and can't get any from anywhere I still have my old ones in the spares box in garage, so let me know. Regards, Pete
