Hi Guys, I need to find the damned mirror relay. Whilst my car was stripped down for the respray I had a good look inside the door - NO relay. When speaking with Dom at Powers when I ordered a new mirror switch he said its a yellow relay on the relay/fuse board. Last weekend took the glove box out and battery cover, could not find a yellow relay, there are others which I have identified, there is also a block of 4 at the back of the dash visible through the opening where the glove box was. Can anyone throw any light on where or which relay is the mirror one? Have looked in the Steve Heath Bible and cannot find a reference to the mirror relay on either of the relay boards? Many thanks, Pete

The only mirror relay on mine was in the heater controller and it worked the heated mirrors. The block of 4 behind the dash contains only 2 "relays" on mine - both are concerned with indicators and hazard lights.

It has to be said that the wiring was unique in my Griff long before I owned it...

Mine was inside the drivers door beneath where your right elbow rests when seated.
The relay was held in place by a riveted bracket. Had to remove the surround and door card to find it on a 92 pre-cat.

Ah, would that be inside the arm rest where the switch and joystick is? I only looked inside the door when the door card was removed!

Yes within the arm rest but further away from the hinges approx 10" along from the joystick. I only found it when looking for some way of creating a larger door pocket, a long term work in progress...
