Range

I was just wondering what sort of range everyone gets out of a full tank in their Griff. I think mine may have dropped off a bit recently and I'm wondering if this is just down to my imagination, more spirited driving or a problem with the fuel system....

I'm getting about 150 out of a full tank so whats that in mpg terms? I can only handle litres I'm afraid

edit: just figured it out...about 12.5 methinks....

and having run out a couple of times due to an "occasional use only" fuel guage I have taken to carrying a 5ltr can in t'boot.

150 miles to a full tank and i thought i was doing good, this was some how better than my alpine which i used to fill the tanks up and go out for a couple of hours and it would be on empty, this was only a 2liter.

Stesrg, 150 miles to a tank, that's 11.8 to the gallon.
You need to take off your diving boots before getting in the car.

I also get around 150 miles per tank before I decide to refill, I never let it get below a certain level tho so it may go further. I did work out mpg but I've forgotten.

If the tanks only hold 2 litres and you can drive for a couple of hours you've done very well. 2 litres is barely half a gallon.

Between 200 and 230 miles. The only time I worked it out it was around 17 mpg.

ER 2 liter engine capacity !!!

The problem is that the gauge will show "empty" when you probably have a couple or so gallons left, with a big variation from car to car, therefore we will all have different range's but not necessarily different consumption.

Well my fuel guage shows empty ALL the time, except when I occassionally go over a bump too fast. The next time I grumble to a halt I'll be sure to make a note of what the trip meter says
