Happy New Griff Owner
Discussion
Hi, Just saying hello as a new griff owner. I bought a 1 owner 22,000 mile griff 500 95 serp recently and have been lurking on here since so thought it was time I said hello.
The car is (or rather was) completely standard and I intend to keep it that way within reason.
My first stop was Carl Baker for a new alarm and having spent the day with him I would never let anyone else work on my Griff. His work is Faultless and I think better and neater than factory (but thats not saying much)he really knew his way around my griffith.
Next I needed new number plates and Andy at Plates for cars did a top job of matching the originals -

Had to buy them as show plates to get the henley blurb and post code but I think it was worth it.
Finaly I needed it to sound like it should so many thanks to clive for his Y piece (I drilled out the pre cats at the same time).
So far I am loving it, not had the roof on yet! and I still don't know if the radio works!
Future plans will be body off and hot dip the chassis and put it back together with all new bushed and suspension.
So far I have let 2 of my Porsche obsessed friends drive and while its not as quick (not talking straight line) they both came back with the biggest grins on their faces I have ever seen.......
Look forward to bothering you all soon with silly Questions.
Adam.

Welcome Adam, stunning colour, I love blue Griffs. It looks from the photo to be very similar to my colour (Arden Blue), what colour is it? We look forward to hearing more about your Griff as time goes by. All the best, PeteThe car is (or rather was) completely standard and I intend to keep it that way within reason.

Thanks Pete, yes blue is best! I love your new paint. I would really like to paint mine as it has some scratches but its still in its factory paint and I would like to keep it that way. Gassing Station | Griffith | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
