Starter motor circuit loom advice

Hi,

dash panel is off at the moment so want to take advantage of fitting a manual fan override switch and starter motor relay. Spliced into the green/pink otter switch wire for the fan switch and job done, all good. Just need advice/confimation on the starter motor solenoid wire location.
There is a big 7 pin brown connector comming off the main loom (just after it enters the cabin). Dash loom side has a thick white/red wire entering the connector (I think this is ignition switch to starter motor wire). However the corresponding exit wire from the connector is brown.
Anyone out there who has done the same thing and can confirm this is the ingnition switch to starter solenoid wire?

On mine the feed from the ingnition switch (via the immobilisor) was White /Red. It went to pin 7 of the brown plug. The feed to the starter solenoid on the other side of pin 7 was a black wire.

On that connector I tink it was :-

1 Violet /White live supply to fuel pump relay contacts
2 Black Fuel pump supply back from relay
3 Brn/ Grn main relay coil
4 Wht /Grn Fuel pump relay coil + ECU supply
5 Blk/Grn Not used
6 Blk / Red Not used
7 Blk Starter solenoid

confirmed my first thoughts. Did some continuity checks at ignition switch, alarm/immobiliser unit and brown connector and all checked out. Starter relay now installed behind dash and all good. Hope this helps with life of immobiliser unit and keeps hot start issue at bay (which luckily I don't have anyway).
