Griff refurb required

15 years ago, I would have known the answer to this question as I lived & breathed TVRs being the mid Essex TVRCC RO. !! As a fan to this day, I have a standard 4L griff, fairly original. I bought it last year but have been so busy (in the car industry) that I have had little time to spend on it. It has a raft of history with it & I checked the frame etc when I bought it & it is quite reasonable. I would like to get somebody to lift the body, refurb where required & coat the chassis, replace bushes/brakes etc & do some paintwork. I don’t want to spend a fortune, maybe £5k – can anybody make any recommendations – I am based in Essex & saw an ad for Mat smith but am totally out of touch with who & how much....I have a horrible feeling my budget my might people wince as well !!

Talk to Ian at Sportmotive - whoever you end up with I reckon you'll have to add 15 years of inflation to your budget though
