Just put a new one on mine a few days ago. I just took the old one to the local motor factors and got one the same size.

1992 Rangie classic should do it tho.

ERC675 translates to 6467mc

Purely out of curiosity I looked up the Motoquip part Russell MC quoted
lookup here: http://www.motaquip-ecat.co.uk/

Its a Cogged 9.5 x 1125mm
The Gates one I have is a toothed V belt 10 x 1113

12mm difference in length isn't massive, but its enough. Its also interesting to note neither of these have Rover V8 as the application for use.

It will be interesting to know what other people out there have either on the car or in their spares pack.

Paul, you're welcome to borrow my spare if you want to try it.

There is a fair bit of adjustment in the alternator so a few mm here and there is probably OK. My alternator keep loosening itself and I'm sick of tighteneing it every trip.
I'm sure the one I have is Dayco xxx.

Mine currently (and the spare) look like this:
http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/drive-belt-alternator-...
With a grooved V shape.
There are loads of diffeent variants and I'm not sure whether I even have the correct one on it now so don't want to go and buy a few of the wrong type.
My "new" alternator is the standard pre cat type with the lareg (about 4 inch) wheel that spins inside the cowl.

This is what is on mine currently:
http://www.findpart.org/part/qui-qba1113
Quinton Hazell QBA1113. Not compatable with any Land/Range Rover, so no point taking it to a motor factor as its not the correct one to start with.

It is but its not listed for ANY Land or Range Rover.
Odd that we would have the same spec.

when I wanted one I sat in Halfords and pulled their display apart measuring them up against my old belt..... was left with a big pile on the floor of ones that I had tried...... left it for the staff to sort out what went where... and to be honest I don't think they were in order to start hehe

I guess not as nobody appears to have a LR/RR belt fitted. Just curious as to why nobody has.
Mine slips a lot but thats appears to be down to the bolts loosening themselves. Just wanted to get some spares and was going for Land/Range Rover but seems almost anything fits.
