In the process of diagnosing a shot cam, (big thanks to Jules for his time and effort) we found the intake hose has failed as well.
I know ACT have a lovely set but got to keep costs down so looking at eBay special, has anyone else used the 80mm flex hose from there? And was 1m enough for the job?
Cheers for any pointers guys.

Ian,
I guess more like 1.5m in total, but only a guess. Defo more than a metre.

Sorry got distracted while posting.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330651585086?var=5400496...

the silicone elbow was 76mm rather tight fit in afm, and nips up great on plenum.

Ducting hose I got 80mm black neoprene.

I ordered some a while back which looked great quality, neoprene with the spiral metal wiring not visible on the inside so smooth, unfortunately didn't order a long enough piece and all that seem listed now have visible wire.

Yeah Paul,
It's not in the car yet but 1.5 is more than enough.

B&Q and Travis Perkins have some nice flexy aluminium air ducting nearly the same dimension. Slots nicely onto the AFM housing. Good heat reflector. I may enclose my TVR ducting with it. Would look better. The neoprene one looks good.

Thought I would add a couple of photos.

all installed, the ducting was 80mm, if I did it again I might have used 76mm as I think it would just have managed.

Left over from 1.5m
