water in drivers footwell
Discussion
Could be coming from Many palces in the engine bay where wires etc come through Grommets etc. NO 1 is usually the the Brake Reservoir seal.
Also Is the door Seal ok and soes it have the two little indents in the bottom stretch, these help the water flow over the seal and out under the door.If not if comes over the seal and into the car.
Another Place to look is where the seal comes down from the door Pillow. As it goes around towards teh front of teh car it can get under the seal here and drip/ run straight down the carpet into the Footwell.
Good luck

as already said, it could be many places.
my griff lives out side all year round. most of the time it has the hood cover put on religiously.
but once in a while the rain beets me to it, and I have noticed water in the footwells.
Once tracked it down to the hood leaking through the fabric between the rear screen and the hood (stitching), it would then wick its way down the carpet and into the footwells. (parked facing downhill always). only spotted this as I was once in the car and it was throwing it down, as once the rain stops the carpet dries out as the water flows to the footwell..
