Just got back from Scotland (nice!) and discovered that the screen washer motor is not working - power at the connectors so must be the motor. I note that TVR Power have them but does anyone else sell them just for price comparison. I assume it just unplugs and then push in again or is it bayonet in somehow to lock it?

The car is running very nicely since it was sorted Mike; it is better at slow running and shunts less - not that it was that bad before - but it is noticeably better and runs that bit smoother as well. The only issue was the washers weren't working so I put a meter on the connectors and the power is there so assume the motor has gone - it was OK for the MoT a few weeks ago so funny that it has gone since as it hasn't been used but then .....
Only other possible thing might be some muck in it or something but the washer fluid is clean - if anyone has any experience of muck in the pump and how to check ideas appreciated.

PS Sheila wasn't with me for this trip - it was a boys one so at the pub each night .....(Caledonian XPA was v nice!)

Its a generic part. Your local motor factors will have one on the shelf. Take the old one down there and they can match it up for you

Try Eurocarparts and Motor Parts Direct, as said previously it is a generic pump.

I've looked at Eurocarparts and the other one that Pete suggested and nothing that is clearly what I want (one possible but not listed for TVR so not sure if it is correct) so has anyone a part number for the pump?
My other option is to remove the pump and go round the factors with it but better with a part no I suspect so they could cross ref it.

Please do not quote me but a nagging memory suggests Fiesta, does it look like this one?

Thanks Bob - just noted that Power has them but at a price which is quite a bit more than I would have expected. The picture on the Power website is not like any of the ones shown for the Fiesta. Not a disaster to pay the higher price but would rather not if I can avoid it. I'll ask the question on the general TVR forum; someone must have apart number or where used, etc. ....

It is now all sorted. In the end I went to our local Andrew Page depot; they said it was a fairly wide spread use pump (looking at the list there were plenty of Audi applications plus some Vauxhall as well as others - didn't get a good look as didn't have the bins on - doh!) and whilst they didn't have one in they got it from another branch in 3 hours - so for ref it is Andrew Page ref DGEWP4 which incl VAT was just over £8 so a decent price too!
