What size do you use on the rears? [ standard rims ] Mine has 245/45 but I saw someone running 225/50.

I run the standard 225/50 Toyos on the original 16" Gotti rims. Find them really good plenty of grip when warm, with nice handling. Think some Griff owners use the bigger tyre but lower profile to keep a similar rolling radius to original fitment 225/50's.

I have 235/50x16 on mine - original factory size for when my car came out of Bristol Ave. How much longer this size will be available is anyones guess - mine is probably not long.

John,
I think its 225/50 original fitment on the older cars and 245/45 on the later cars. Not sure the exact date of the switch and knowing TVR they were both fitted at some time. Probably other variants too.

Mine also came with 235/50/16 ZR on the rear and 205/55/15 front, manual steering. Difficult to get tyres in this size, except maybe the Dunlop sp 9000. Had them on but not happy with. Now have new Bridgestone Adrenalin RE002, available in 205/55/15 and 225/50/16 which was also a factory original. Good tyre and available with the correct speed rating (W). No way to get lower rating approved over here in Germany.

The factory really had a variation in sizes; I wonder if any left the factory with "one of each" on the rear, poor owner wondering why it cornered better one way.
