Will the 25th anniversary of the modern Griffith be celebrated do we think? And if so when would it be? I was just beginning th think that the beginning was in '89 or was it even '88? Yet I've not heard much about it?

First seen at the 1990 Motorshow wasn't it? So I assume it'd be 2015?

Late September 1990 at that, so yes, a full 2 years to go.

I thought it was conceived a tad earlier with the blue car with door hadles and external fuel filler cap? As this car was made road legal then wouldn't that be the official beginning? Also thought Macs red one was an '89 car as well?

Think you remain a year or two out - Mack's car - http://www.pistonheads.com/members/showcar.asp?car...

And while waiting for the anniversary, a little nostalgic reading - http://motor-sport.archive.netcopy.co.uk/article/a...

LOL, 2 years you say? hmmmm, did an English business man not just mention 2 years for a "new" TVR maybe using old names?
All the old griffs at the launch of the new one?

Or am I mad? ;-)

The blue motor show car was 1990 (I think) and was registered F596ACK. Macks red one was the 1st fully running car and one of 3 propotypes. The 2nd is still owned by Steve Prevett (J524 MHG - Highland pearl) and the 3rd was yellow (Maybe tweety old 400?).
