Yep, 99% certain it's game over for my P&J
There I was thinking a gearbox was possible worst case situation.
Anyone got a 5ltr sitting around doing nothing? Will swap for magic beans! Lol
What bad luck mate. All is not lost though, you could have been involved in an accident and written the beast off! If you are up for it it's an engine out job, strip down and replace crank and any other parts requiring replacement. On the positive side, good opportunity to check everything over clean up and shien tose engine parts, clean up/paint inside the engine bay etc. Keep us posted, rgds, PeteThere I was thinking a gearbox was possible worst case situation.

did the engine continue to turn or did it come to a dead stop?.... How do you know it's the crank.. is the pulley all over the place etc?... terrible luck!...
Dead stop, after a terminal sounding clatter. Won't turn, fly has a wobble. Cheers Pete, I'm trying to keep it light, but in reality there is not looking like an option for me to be able to get it sorted.
Really is a lottery ticket job this weekend.

Loadsa man-points if you have bust the crank - I've only ever broken one, on a Suzuki X7 two-stroke twin bike. Sheared right where the labyrinth seal runs and confused the hell out of me as it still ran, sort of, but just sounded odd
Treat it as an opportunity and post up the gory details; someone will know the best way out however buggered it is. Good luck
