I know, I know, it is a Griff forum, but is this not a thing of beauty, the colours do it for me as well. Could you be tempted to the dark side................one day I will have to scratch that itch wobble

I think it is up for sale at £10k, less the plate.............I know these older Cerbera's can be a potential money pit, but in reality most older TVRs with that kind of performance are.

Yes have to agree, looks fantastic. I was never keen on the Cerbs but they have grown on me somewhat and have to say i do now like, very much.

The only thing that stops me is the cost of running one. Everything seems to be a TVR part, nothing out of the Ford, Rover or Vauxhall parts bin which just makes them too expensive for me.

I was looking at that today as well, it looks superb!
I'm not allowed 2 TVRs though.

Great colour, but I've never been a fan of the Cerbie/Chimp shape.

Whenever there is an important decision to be made, 'man maths' comes to the rescue. Consequently, as it is now just like a people carrier, it makes a sensible family purchase. Sounds logical to me smile

Hi Peter.

Bought one as a 'sensible' family car when the Mrs said I had to sell the Griff and get something with 4 seatds and a roof.... the man maths worked until the engine went pop....
still love the look of Cerbs - mental and an itch that needs to be scratched if you can.

Now you've just got the BV so dont go and sell it.
Great cars but not convertible and have you dat in one - very low roof. I didn't like it, but they do look great - red bull blue also looks good on a cerb as well as california sage..

I should say I'd love any TVR

I am wearing my rose tints, but I could if I choose.

Would I be able to buy one as a Pool car for my ltd company ?

Hi Paul, no don't worry the BV is going to stay this time. You are right about the roof line and if I ever went down the cerb route it would have to be a year 2000 plus car as they have a deeper screen and it is less like looking through a letter box when driving. If you are tall and have the seat a long way back; when you are at the front, waiting for the lights to change, I am pretty sure that you will need to look out of the side window.

There is no reason why you can't put a car through the company as long as the tax stacks up. However, I am not sure a Cerb would be an obvious daily drive, with the engine warming required etc, but a new as possible / well sorted Griffith or Chimaera would probably be your best bet.............although others may have different ideas. I did run a pre-cat Griffith as a daily car for a year, but to be honest, it does wear a bit thin after a while.

laugh Sorry Mr.FactBV - but the Griff back end looks nothing like as good!

Surprisingly though, looks almost identical to the Chimaera's rear wink

Nice to get the seal of approval from the Griff camp that they are definitely a "good looking arse end" - we've been on about this for years now tongue outsmile

It must have been the dark contrasting lights and the gleaming paintwork that had me sniffing at the dark side. Fortunately, its sold now so I can put that episode behind me completely and concentrate on the Griff.
