I was just about to pull away in my Griff when this bloke with a Vauxhall Omega came up to me and asked for a jump start.

I made all the excuses; did he have jump leads? battery difficult to get to etc. however I took pity on him and gave it a go. B*gger me, it worked, the Vauxhall started.

This must be a first, a Griff giving roadside assistance to a 'normal' car (if you can call a Vauxhall a normal car)......

Fantastic stuff! Always good to be able to take the highground on reliability in a TVR.

Mate of mine used his Cerb to jump a Porker, as he said, the truble is everyone who sees you with them connected assumes it's the TVR that's broken!

I jump-started a Mitsubishi pick-up at the station a few months back. But I have an Anderson connector which makes it very easy.

Also easy for the AA when the battery wasn't up to re-starting it on its first day out this year.
