I like the wheels, just not sure they suit the Griff. The Griff's a design classic and most of us are olde fartes - I suspect you'll get more negatives than positives.

If you like 'em, go get 'em.
Nothing stopping you boxing up the originals if you need to revert to sell the car later or something.

Went crazy choosing wheels for a Griff. Very hard to better what TVR fitted as std imho. Personally I don't think those suit it but as Grover said, if you like them then why not? One thing I noticed though you will need a more suitable offset for the front, ET25 is correct.

These wheels look too samll (i think because of the large 'centre').

Standard - or Sp12/TD's for me....

Phil, you need something more traditional IMHO.

I guess I'm an olde farte, it's hard to beat the Estorils. In my eyes these are not an improvement.

However if you like them, go for them, what's to lose.....?

I think the ones on this car are better as they look more like the original OZ lattice pattern.

more spokes , less emtpy space.

The standard wheels do have an elegance that is hard to beat. cool

I quite like Anthricite 16" spiders for the purposeful look they have.

Question for all : what (readily available) aftermarket wheel has the closest to Estoril style but that is available in larger sizes ?

Image Wheels BRM are closest I can find scratchchin

Think these wheels are actually better suited to the Griff.

I still think the Chimaera looks best on 5 stud hubs and Spiders...

How do the 888s stand up to the off roading peter?

Funny enough, the field was a bit wet and I struggled to get off it! I thought I'd have to walk home and get the Land a Rover smile

So no, they're useless!

It's pretty easy to find Ford RS 7 spokes? (see my profile pic)

Those are the only wheels I've seen that look right as they could easily be an evolution of the Estoril. They looked superb on your Griff.
