Are you sure you really want to sell your Griff' david, you don't want to regret it when its gone. Hang on to it for another year or two.
Ay, what the bloody hell is this then, something on the horizon me thinks.
CHRISTMAS, its has to be something to do with Christmas
Anyone else out there had anything like this happen to them ?

Maybe she's gonna ditch you?
She might want to make sure you've got the next closest thing to your heart still with you.
that can't be right! she's the next closest after the car, right?
Reminds me of this time about 6 years ago chatting to my wife about where/when/what colour Griff to look for when she suddenly said, "I don't know why you don't order a new one, that way you can spec' it exactly how you want it". Until then I had planned to spend about £25k on a used one! Blimey I thought approval from the finance committee to spend £40k on a new one, sorted!

Crankedup,
I would proceed with extreme caution - almost certainly 'something on the horizon' as you suggest. I do not like the sound of it at all!
After decades of studying this baffling subject, I think I've managed to crack some of the code ...
(Apologies if this has been posted somewhere else before.... but I believe it be extremely pertinent)
FINE
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
FIVE MINUTES
If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
NOTHING
This is the calm before the storm. This means"something," and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'Nothing' usually end in "Fine".
GO AHEAD
This is a dare, not permission. Don't do it.
LOUD SIGH
This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".
THAT'S OKAY
This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
THANKS
A woman is thanking you. Do not question it or faint. Just say you're welcome.
Send this to the men you know to warn them about future arguments they can avoid if they remember the terminology!

Notice none of the female of the fraternity here have chipped in on this thread
None of them except Big M then
I know what this is about - you clearly can't tell a man from a woman. It wasn't your wife that said this, it was some random bloke who's moved in with you while she's gone off with the girls for a few days.
Can't see what your issue is. I wouldn't sell mine unless it was desperate. When my sis and her husband moved house and had a few lean months he suggested selling theirs and she wouldn't let him. Not so unusual then
You lot have some bloody weird relationships if you see your partner as the enemy.

SOUNDS LIKE A CUNNING PLAN ON HER BEHALF

Sorry about that slipup Big M. Must ensure that I read all posters names in future.
