After 19 years of Griff ownership (the same one the whole time too), I finally sold the Griff in October as I just no longer had the time to treat it as I would like.

It has gone to a great home however, and I think my good friend Eric has done more miles since October than I managed in the last three years combined! I know he is loving the car, and if he has half as much fun as I had, he will have a jolly good time indeed!

Work, life (and yes, a sailing boat) have just left no time for Griffing, and although it broke my heart to see it driving off, it used to break my heart every time I opened the garage and couldn't find the time for a spin. I am already missing the car, but cannot be sorry about my decision at this time.

People will no doubt comment again about my epic lurking (not many posts in very many years of PH membership), but I do actually read the forums a lot, and will continue to do so.

So have fun all you Griffters, and maybe you will see Eric on here, or round and about the Essex region (or further afield!), in his unmolested 4.3.

All the very best

Still Grinning (just not 'quite' as much.....)

That's brought a tear to my eye.
Just coming up to our 15th anniversary, and still can't imagine being without my Chimaera.

60 posts in 9+ years would seem to indicate many years of trouble free motoring smile
All the best to you

Same boat for me really. Sold my beautiful restored pre cat and missed it terribly. A few months later came across a 500 by fate and now run that. So I still miss my first grffith, but at least I have a bit of something to fall back on! .........

I've had the same Griff since 1999 now. I almost sold it once but it felt like selling the family dog.

But it can't stay for ever...
