Got a 14cux cable and tried rovergauge the other day. impressive tool with some handy info.

Is there an android version. I wondered about making a display as a permanent feature in the car with some alerts etc on it. could be done via Bluetooth possibly also.

anyone know of any other options ?

The android question is covered in the FAQs on Colin's RoverGauge download site:

thanks for the pointer.

couple of options spring to mind I could make. Either a Bluetooth and android version for use on mobile phone/tablet. not too hard (thanks to previous work by others to a large extent) , have done something similar before. Could then be used as a temporary or permanent fixture in the car.

Another thought, a monitor box that is installed out of view but continually monitors parameters and alerts if any go out of range. This might be useful as I think I understood that most TVR MIL lights are not connected, and I'm not sure if they light anyway if you get excessive fuel trim or some other indication that something is going awry.

or a combination of the above, the monitor box left in situ, but acting as a Bluetooth gateway as and when required.

is there anything similar around. is there a need of any sorts ?
