Looking for a Griffith
Discussion
After many years admiring TVR's and especially the rawness of the Griffith from afar I have decided to look at buying one, I have just sold my Porsche 964 so part of my garage is empty.
If any one has or knows of a good example for sale I would be most interested.
Must be first class condition, with full service history,
I am flexible on external colour but would prefer a light interior ( not black or green )
would look at all ages preference for a 500.
Based in the West midlands ( Stourbridge )

If your unfamiliar with tvr marque and the griff, l would suggest getting yourself down to a local meet and get an unbiased opinion on TVR's, rather than going to a dealer. PH'eds is a cracking forum, but chatting to owners face to face would be an advantage also, and I don't know the PH'eds meeting places? If any one has or knows of a good example for sale I would be most interested.

Hi Mark
That's a coincidence has the Midlanders meet at the same pub on the last Wednesday or Thursday of the month ( Porsche )

Sounds perfect Steve. Funny thing the Regional organizer is called Steve also, and the deputy is frank, both quite approachable people, Steve does like to talk, so you have been warned !!!That's a coincidence has the Midlanders meet at the same pub on the last Wednesday or Thursday of the month ( Porsche )

I'm not looking to sell but I live near to you (Henley in Arden) and I have two Griffith 500's. If you wish to pop round for a chat I can talk you through things you need to look out for as a prospective buyer. There's lots of info in this respect on the forum anyway, but it may help you. Only problem is I'm away until later in the month. Drop me a mail if it is of interest. If any one has or knows of a good example for sale I would be most interested.

Good luck with your search - you won't regret it! David.
Thank you to those who responded, I enjoyed hunting around for a good Griffith, went to look at one a couple of days ago, unfortunately it had sold, but had a look around whilst there and found a really nice TR 6 a complete change of plans but it had to be, I will buy a Griff at some point.
Thanks
Steve
