Made you look. Chassis is in pretty damn good condition still.
Was plesently surprised. When I stripped down my S3's chassis when it was 8 years old it needed near enough all the plastic protection taking off.
Well the Griffith is 8 years old and The covering Is still very good. I few very minor bits/patches that I have rubbed down and are ready to be Hammerited ( yes I know some others are better( POR15 ) but I have a tin spare from doing a Wishbone over a year ago).
Its then going to have some waxoyle put over it after doing that.
So in conclusion Very happy bunny as not going to have to spend two weeks of evenings rubbing down getting paint and rust flakes in every bloody where.

So's mine after two new outriggers, body mount plates and some seatbelt mounts
Oh and a few wishbones a couple of years back 
Por15 is the dogs danglies 
I tried to chip away at a bit of newly painted steel just to test it - nothing doing 
Well worth getting some.
