I've got some surface rust on the outriggers which I need to attack with a wire brush as I don't have time for body-off at the moment.

Once cleaned up, whats the recommend paint/treatment. I hear POR 15 is good. Maybe that and then some decent undercoat ?

any advice appreciated.

thanks

At some time down the line the outriggers will rust through but this will be in areas you cannot get at now. On that bassis it could be said that there is little point treating the areas you can see as these are not the places that will fail.
To just make it look pretty then you will not do better than POR15 over S205/206 Metal Prep & Ready.

You can get to the areas you can not see, with good old wax oil. Simple. Easy but messy indicating a good job done. Extension nozzle through finger hole in rear and front wheel arch above outer corners of outriggers. Look and you will see.

ACF-50 is good stuff, and it 'creeps' to give full coverage. BUT, you have to be prepared to make it an annual treatment.
