Just put this on the Chim forum by mistake think its better here
Finally got the car Griff on a rolling road and I have to say I'm surprised and very pleased with the results.
We did 10 runs and this was not the best but what the tuner felt was the most representative of the power output.
All I know is that it is bl**dy quick and I haven't had the road to take it above 4500 rpm!!

That's the beauty of that engine the torque builds progressively with the revs so it's actually very drivable..........almost

Imho the car is better with the current power level than if it were detuned (smaller cam) to a 400-430bhp level because how it is now, the peak torque is higher up the rpm range and some excessive low down grunt is taken away. Which results in your experience of (almost) driveability.More power is logical

I agree, also I think the fly-by-wire throttle helps, it's very responsive but doesn't allow you to slam the throttle open.
Downshifting is better too as the throttle doesn't slam shut. You can still heel and toe so it ticks all the boxes for me, oceans of power when you want it and (almost) docile when you don't.
