My windows are just done with a switch and a motor - no modules.

According to the handbook for my 500 there is a fuse for the electric windows, 30amp in position 4, maybe they blew the fuse?

They may also have disturbed a connection. What sort of work have they been doing? Paintwork, trim?

Are they experienced with TVRs? It doesn't sound like it if they think there should be a module.

There is a relay inside the drivers door which is related to the windows. "Spend" hopefully will explain its function.
