Hi lads can any of you tell me what car the door hinge are off both my doors have dropped and the underside of the doors are catching the kick plates the bible says you can adjust them in the foot well or use a shim is it an easy job for someone who know what they are doing or is it best to get a new set of them hope you can help thanks paul

Hi Paul, you may find they just need adjusting or as you say putting a shim in the door side of teh hinge mounting. I made up some 2mm aluminium shims for my doors when the Griff was stripped down for it's respray last year. I have a couple spare in my garage 'TVR Parts' cupboard if you needed them, let me know? I think (not sure) but I don't think they are off anything.

The doors just hinge on bolts that fix into the doors/body.

Hi Colin I have have been told by the spray shop that my driver side door has dropped ,so much so that it is catching the kick plates and marking underneath the door so to be honest I am not sure what to do ,get new hinge or adjust plus shims any advice would be great as the spray shop will not paint the door till it is sorted out ,is it a big job ,to adjust or easy if you know what you are doing thanks again paul

It's not hard to adjust the door, loosen the upper and lower hinges then have your assistant wiggle the door. Try it and repeat until it's right. I also changed the hinge bushes, they were a little fiddly to get out but not impossible.
