Power Steering Fluid?

I'm running a 98' Griff 500 and am having the old problem with the power steering fluid leak through the perished pipe. As its a TVR is there a special type of fluid we have to use?

I take it it is leaking under the pump( normally here) any hydraulic company can make you up some new pipes. someone like Piretex(spelling?). Or even just given the Juberliee clips a gentle turn can cure a leak from here if they have come slack/loose over time.
I just use the recommended oil as in manual.

Any Automatic Transmission Fluid will do

As BB said the pipes are nothing special any standard 5/8” bore hydraulic pipe will do, though you may need new clips. Get good quality ones as hydraulic pipe tend to be stiffer than heater hose and needs to be nipped up that bit tighter.

If you cant get ATF220 the any DEXTRON III from Halfords will work fine.

Halfords sell some Castrol stuff in a white and red bottle labelled up as Automatic transmission fluid ( red ) which is Dextron 3 which is suitable...
