Hi all, I want to make a special 'hook up' connector for adjusting the trim on the Lucas AFM's. I have a spare 'loom' plug (the one that fits the AFM) but require a connector (its actuall a male plug) as fitted on the AFM's. So firstly has anyone got a duff scrap AFM that I could take the connector out of, or does anyone know the connector type/manufacturer? Many thanks, Pete

The connector is called "Junior Power Timer Connectors"

The (male) end that plugs in to the AFM is available from ECS at www.electricalcarservices.com

This item http://www.electricalcarservices.com/Connectors/Ju...

Maybe they can get you a new female connector.

Many thanks 'Blaze' a useful site. I actually have a 'plug' that I will use that came with a spare AFM I bought a while back. I actually need the part that is mounted on the AFM itself, I shall peruse the site you gave. Regards, Pete

I have had no luck in sourcing one of the AFM mounted plugs, I now know exactly the type and make, but 6 pin plugs (as fitted to the AFM's) do not seem to be available. So, if anyone has an old duff AFM that was due to be scrapped, I would like the plug fitted to it, don't need the AFM body. Your help is appreciated, regards, Pete

I have this exact problem .. when I do my AFM upgrade I change to two male and female 2 pin plugs (only 4 of the 6 pins are used)
The 6 pin male isn't available. I asked Simtek recently though and they said a porsche specialist had comissioned an injection moulding for the male 6 pin end so try calling simtek to see if they can put you in touch with that porsche specialist .. ?

Hi guys, unfortunately Jes could not find his old AFM (many thanks anyway Jes), so I am still looking for the 6 way socket on the Lucas AFM's! If anyone has an old duff AFM that I could remove the socket from that would be great, please let me know. Regards, Pete
