low oil pressure
Discussion
Happy New Year everyone!
Hope you have been enjoying the nice weather, in conjunction with days off work (for a change) and been getting some miles in!
I have noticed my 4.3 BV 1992 Griff is always running on low oil pressure. Between 0 and 25 even at 3-4000 revs. I know that they do run relatively low, but it is still disconcerting to see the gauge go down to zero, and sometimes fluctuate even if the revs are constant!
Should I be concerned?

mine was reading below 25 PSI, but more importantly fluctuating at constant revs.
I got Offords to check pressure using a wet line gauge which showed 28PSI at idle 45PSI at constant 3000RPM. But more importantly - it was constant
fitting a new sensor confirmed the wet line readings on the dashboard.
cost of job = £40 sender + £40 labour = peace of mind!
