Problem lining up window frame/guide

Guys
I have stripped the drivers door to fix a slow window and noticed the frame is not bolted on the Middle bracket half way up the door. Problem is the bracket doesn't line up with the nut bonded in the door unless I really force the frame. Anyone else had this problem, is it a case of TADTS and I need to man up and force the issue?

Hi,

I have recently adjusted my front window frame. Where the window frame bolts to the bottom of the door, there is up/down and left/right adjustment at this point. The attachment plate on the frame at the top of the door is quite large, it is possible to enlarge the mounting slot in the plate to allow attachment with out forcing the frame.
