Rocker cover gaskets

Morning all.
I'm after a bit of advice please on rocker cover gaskets.
Mine always leak whatever I try.
I've got a 500 with the TVR logo-ed covers - and to be honest they don't look very well made.
The flange around the bottom is too thick to fit into the groove of the rubber gaskets which only leaves cork as an option - unless anyone has a better suggestion?

Nothing a couple of hours dremmelling can't sort

Alternatively, can swap you a set of later covers that will fit the grooves...

I recently had this exact problem. Just keep at it pushing them on and eventually they will stay put long enough for you to get the covers on and in place.
