Clear indicator lens
Discussion
Can anyone tell me where I can get clear lens glasses for my '98 Griff. I've found a full set at Racetech which look good but quite expensive. I believe the side repeaters are from a Fiesta Mk 3 but that said it's difficult to know what your buying when dealing on eBay. Also no idea about the origins of the front indicators. Advice/recommendations would be appreciated.
Bumping this on here before I go over to Chim forum. I'm still looking for clear lens front indicator assemblies or even just the glasses. The original amber ones are military Landrover part code RTC1885 costing about £30 each - but I can't find anything for a clear lens part number. The only clear lens option I can see is at at Racetech who are offering them for £168 for a pair which I think is a bit much...... Any pointers?????
You need the front sidelight on an older military vehicle (Land Rover, Chieftan tank (good luck), maybe 4 tonner, and other military hardware).
There should be a long number of the lens (about 7 digits) and then you need to find the corresponding clear number. Can have a look when I get home if you cant find it by then.
I'd snap these up quick:

FV817224 is the code you need not all numeric as I thought.
Only 1 though:

You'll need a pair of these:

Silver but glow orange when lit to eliminate the fried egg effect.

Hi ste check my profile for how the griff looked !!Mine were certainly solid orange plastic jobbies. The rear lights on my car you could remove the Orange also, I have a pic somewhere of four side lights, double in brightness when braking, also a centre brake light, in the gap between the lid and body.
