Just been looking in the classifieds and noticed a Griff for sale from a 'solicitor' . Does this make it worth more ?

Mine is owned a by a surveyor...... it's priceless, so I am guessing owned by a "solicitor" is worth less

^^^^ hehe It does seem an odd thing to put in an advert, is he inferring that a manual working owner would look after it any less? If so, I actually think the reverse. So yes, less.

I'd trust a solicitor much less.
(Only based on the dealings I'm having with one currently so no offence meant to others out there)

I've been knocked for money three times in the last 20 years, not bad for a small building company.

ALL were solicitors!

Aren't solicitors the ones with pipes and slippers? If so, you sure it wasn't a Chim that was being sold??

PS I am a solicitor, so just trying a bit of deflection here!

Ah ok back on track.. Every one I have had dealings with has tried to up the price and/or cocked up. Perhaps when you pay for this the keys will be an extra 3 grand as `I had extra work to complete the transaction in time.`

Nowt wrong with the right solicitor. Mine saved me a fortune when it came to a Marriage settlement. hehe

Solicitor = someone who is prepared to lie for a living, dependant on who crosses their palms with sufficient silver.

wouldn't trust them to change the oil and be honest about it...

Many years ago my fathers company was represented by solicitors and a barrister who took their fees up front stating that my father had a watertight case in this problem at the time.

On the day of the court case, out of the blue, minutes before the hearing my father was told that his case hadn't a hope and his legal advisors generally fked off.

A bit OT but the mornings a bit boring..........
