oil pressure sender part no. please
Discussion
It depends on what gauges you have in the car. Since yours is a pre-cat (like mine), then the original sender to go with the Stuart Warner gauges (black face with indicator needle parking on left and rotating to right) is out of production. When mine stopped working I fitted a new version from Powers Performance but it doesn't really work (functions like an on off switch much like the yellow light).
I will be interested to see if anyone has a good solution to this.
Cheers,
Simon

I replaced both sensor and switch on my 400 pre-cat. I too tried to avoid TVR prices but gave up in the end.
What I can tell you is the pre-cat Stewart Warner gauges read abnormally to the other gauges (500 et al) - the early Stewart Warner resistive range for oil pressure is back-to front.
This is my gauge (excuse the quality mobile phone pic) :

Measurements on my pre-cat revealed 230 ohms approx for the needle to sit at 0 psi and zero ohms (i.e. grounded) for the pressure to read maximum (100psi+).
I trawled the interweb armed with this resistive scale but gave up in the end as no-one quotes them. I bit the bullet and bought the TVR-N0009 sender from Racing Green at just short of £50 delivered inc. vat.
I managed to get the Range Rover switch from Euro Car Parts however.
