In case this is of any use to you, I made up a cam sensor for the intermediate serp timing cover. It's designed to work with an easy-to-get Honeywell hall sensor fitted in the timing cover and provide one pulse per rotation, working in conjunction with a crank trigger. I have a few spares since this was the most efficient way to get them made.Here's the prototype:
