Griff Grumble on Saturday Aug 22nd at Sedgebrook Hall / The Brampton Halt.

It's by no means a Growl replacement, there are no stands or traders, just a one night get together for the usual drink fueled bunch who fancy some beers and a bit of food.

There is a pub 5mins walk away, The Brampton Halt, and the plan is to have some evening food in the pub, hopefully the BBQ kitchen will be open outside.

If it's a nice weekend and maybe you're looking for a drive out, there will be a few of us there!

From 12.30pm at:
Sedgebrook Hall

From 8pm at:
The Brampton Halt
Pitsford Road
Chapel Brampton
Northampton
NN6 8BA

is there a promo code or anything for the hotel booking Moycie or is it just a case of getting on the website, fill in the room and dates and book?

Oh, and are we eating at the Brampton?
Have we got tables booked or don't we need to?

Ian,
There was a code but cant recall it (try TVR). We booked via Booking.com I think as it was cheaper. Believe we are eating at the Brampton but suspect we'll probably be there before 8pm, like 1pm

Moycie - I've been asked about dress code. Assuming as you are, no requirement to dress up.
What's the [plan for the afternoon - looking sunny and warm so beer garden sounds good. When the thunderstorms come we can go inside.

Found the details so posting them here in case anyone else is hoping to come along.

The venue: Sedgebrook Hall, Principal Hayley (Northampton, NN6 8BD)...

I have spoken to the hotel and reserved some rooms under the reference "TVR Griffith", block ID is: #18691276. For the night of the 22nd August, 1 night, a rate of £85 bed and breakfast for single occupancy or £90 bed and breakfast for double occupancy.

There is a pub 5mins walk away, and we can arrange dinner in the hotel - reserving tables together - or the pub. We will decide nearer the time.

Thanks Ian. You grabbed the code. Should be okay in rooms, they have no wedding or other event going on over the weekend.
I have booked tables at the pub for dinner at 8pm.
Hopefully we will have sunshine, there is a large beer garden and hopefully the BBQ kitchen will be open too.
See you around 12pm tomorrow!

Weather is looking pretty awesome tomorrow. I should be there around mid day, stopping off to see Dave the Trimmer and on to the Grumble. Looking forward to catching up with the usual reprobates... should be a good laugh. thumbup

I'd forgotten about FFG and Hoovers obsession with shirts.
I'd better fish something out of the 'duster' drawer in case they decide they want it.
