Could anyone advise me of TVR friendly companies that offer agreed value on newish Griffiths (P reg).

I have just had a complete interior and exterior refurb and upgrade by Webbs / TVR Bodyshop (£7000 approx) and they have strongly advised that the cars value is £20,000 and is well above the likely value to be offered by the insurance co (£15,000 ish) and that I should have an agreed value policy.

At present I am with A. Mannings who are very good but do not offer this cover.

Anyone got an agreed value policy out there?

Ta in advance.

Generally most classic insurance companies will offer a certain level of classic cover on cars over 10 years old - 'classic' meaning limited mileage and agreed value. Some stipulate 15 years, others 20, and others 25. On a '97 you're going to be looking at a 'specialist' or 'second car' type policy to get agreed value as it won't fall within the age requirements for most 'classic' policies. Would be worth trying kit car insurers as well. Of course it's the same cover and conditions - just a different name for the policy.

Try AON. They classify it as a classic and cover agreed value.

Classic Line do do an Agread Value.
You get a form to be filled in and then they have to agree to that to.

Thanks for that, chaps.

AON came up best with £677 for £250 and 5000 mile limit; agreed value of £20k.
