Anybody Know Anything About This Car?

My dad's after a 500 with no real budget as they're not dropping value. We've had a Chimaera before so nothing is a surprise.
Anybody know anything about this one? It's been up for about 2 weeks but seems quite honest.

I dont know the car or its owner but I was only looking at this ad yesterday and thinking what great value it was, especially given the sensible and sympathetic improvements such as the Canems engine management system.
Being a pre 1997 car it'll also have the far better silver/grey chassis finish rather than the dreadful white coated later ones, but it'll still a 22 year old TVR so the chassis will still need a thorough and careful checking over.
The only way to asses a car is to go and see it in the flesh and have a good poke about, any car can look wonderful in photos but can end up being a real dog when you actually go to see it. We've all been there when car shopping
But on the face of it this Griffith looks like it's very much worth the traveling to take a closer look at, and my guess is it won't be on the market long.
A Griffith like this is better than money in the bank and you certainly couldn't buy a standard one on the old Lucas 14CUX then convert it to the excellent Canems engine management system for the same money.
Also worth talking to Lloyd Specialist Developments who will know the car, they may be able to give you a steer on the car's true condition before you commit the travel expenses to going and viewing it.
Worth a call I'd say
