To save rummaging around in the 'ratsnest' trying to find the Ecumate fault code reader socket I want to make up an extension lead and leave it coiled up in the glovebox.

Question is, where can I buy a spare plug and socket (no.2 in above picture)?

Help will be appreciated.

Not sure - wouldn't it be easier to cut the connector off leaving some short tails and then solder in new lengths of wire to extend it

It does appear that the connector may be re manufactured now- you can get the plug side:

Ive not seen the socket side so far though.

Thanks for the replies. As it seems both halves of the connector aren't available I will cut and extend it...proper solder and heat shrink sleeves of course.

You could also insert a couple of block connectors in the middle to extend the loom. That's what I tend to do.
