Are these on all Griffs - pre-cat or serp alike?
Is there any reason we shouldn't get one for our spares boxes - ie. are there seals we need to worry about perishing so its not worth having in stock unless you plan to use it in the next couple of years.

Ian Matthew Poxon had his rot out and struggled to replace, in the end it cost a lot, these seem a decent price? (I believe that was the story)

TVR parts list shows this servo is common to 500s and pre-cats:

I have to admit that is one of my fears whenever one of these things has come up for sale. I often purchase parts for the spares box, but do worry about the diaphragm going stiff if left for any length of time. My original was fine for 20 years before it started to look a bit flaky, not sure I would want to fit a 20 year old replacement.

I also note there is a long lead time to get one of these, hmm I wonder if they are coming from China?

The one on my link is TRW in the description if it isnt then its going back wink I have used stored correctly brake components in the past on various makes of car and have never had issues scratchchin stored in a humid or cold/damp I wouldn't touch with a 10ft barge pole however nono I do understand your concern though smile
