I'm hoping to build a 4.3 pre-serp BVH next year...Can anyone suggest which pistons to use?
Thanks in anticipation...

4.0 Pistons for higher CR and something like a Typhoon cam which will give more power and doesn't require the piston valve cut outs.

“MOST TVR 4.3s had Land Rover 3.9 (9.35:1) pistons with 22.5 cc at TDC with 2mm removed resulting with 12cc APPROX and giving 10+:1, the pistons should be level with the deck. However, SOME TVR 4.3s had Land Rover 4.2 (8.94:1) pistons with skimmed heads giving 9.5:1”.

Tuscan Challenge 450BV race cars had Cosworth 94mm forged pistons so forged pistons would be good enough for me provide you can get a set in the correct size.

I've heard of a few 4.3 engines let go and in both cases the machined 3.9 pistons broke. I therefore can't stop thinking TVR removing 2mm weakened the pistons, however this is a little unfair as in reality we hear of very few broken 4.3 pistons.
