I've searched in the forum, but to no avail...I want to upgrade to 500 rear calipers, vented rear discs, etc...Will they fit onto my bearing carriers, or are they different to the 500?

Just looked on RaceTech...They sell 'big-brake' carriers for bigger, vented disc conversion...

Yep, just did this, you need new hub-carriers, bearing, grease retainers and hub-nuts (and discs/calipers and pads obviously)

Lots of info over on the S forum.

For vented discs you need the 'wide mouth' callipers. They are the same callipers fitted to the rear of the Tamora and T350. Can't fully recall what Fords they came off though.

You can get both 252 and 272mm discs in vented and solid as Ford fitted both sizes and types. So the simplest upgrade is 252mm vented discs and callipers.

Fitting the 272mm discs needs different bearing carriers. You could just fit the carriers and solid 272mm discs and retain your existing 'narrow mouth' callipers.

The above applies to 4 stud set ups.

Not sure if the 272mm discs are available in 5 stud and vented.

No problem, I've gone for the 324mm discs, and Brembo 4-pot calipers, up front
