I am in the process of sorting out a few bits on the car. Had new wiper arms fitted by David Batty when it was in for service as the old ones were looking a bit sorry for themselves. I had Dave the Trimmer anodise the Leven alloy vents black as although I prefer the alloy finish I got bored of seeing their reflection on the screen from inside the car when driving.

The mesh / grille between the bonnet and the windscreen, does anyone know where I can get a new one from please? The existing one is looking a bit worse for ware.

Thank you very much sir. I have looked at that item before and never realised it fitted the Griff as well. I will get one of those ordered. thumbup

I did float that idea with my TVR specialist but he convinced me not to go down that route, apparently they don't look great painted as they were originally anodised.

Matthew

Have you thought about one of these?

A bit pricey initially perhaps but when you've done your grill you could anodize all the other bits and pieces on your car and even anodize your mates' bits (from their cars) as well...... Pete

Looks like a good shout Pete, but I think my wife would go mad if I had a chemistry set bubbling away in the house. I need to get myself a man shed.

I meant feel free to hijack, it really doesn't bother me. I am not precious about keeping things on topic.

How hard is it to replace? It has me thinking as the washer pipes under there are a pain to get to, maybe taking that grille off is the way in?

Not sure its a way in. On the Griff i`m pretty sure that grill is just a cosmetic cover.
