other than starting in gear with clutch depressed and accelerating / decelerating with clutch down....

any other suggestions?

Get somebody to sit in car with clutch depressed and try and rock it free, slightly less aggressive. Then maybe the above methond!

David warm the engine up with the box in neutral to normal operating temp first a bit of heat can help be very careful if on axle stands or road

Jack up the rear on axle stands, let the car idle until really warm and then pressing the loud pedal usually frees it.

Quite often it will free itself without revving just with the heat.

thx guys ...yes, heard warming right through makes big difference

Ian...sorry not got in touch yet...illness and more than enough other issues to handle getting in the way..
