Rear brake proportioning valve
Discussion
Hi
Just popped over from the SSeries forum because I am upgrading my S3 brakes to the same as a Standard Griff arrangement. I have the appropriate brake proportioning valve and would like confirmation of which way round it goes!
It has a 10mm male fitting at one end and a 12mm fitting at the other.
A very small arrow amongst the ford part number suggests the small male end points towards the MC. Anybody know if this is correct?
Many thanks for any help.
Tony.

Yes Mike, that's the one!

Fitted it this afternoon with the small male end toward the MC (front).
I put it close to the T piece and it will not be difficult to turn it round by simply making a different short pipe section with female, rather than male fitting - but thanks to your help on here it will be right first time!
Taking the pic I realised I forget to tighten the T piece nut - so that was helpful as well!
Thanks again for the help folks.

It is fitted the right way round but would be better if you used a male/male adapter between the tee and compensator as your current install could fracture the pipe with vibration.Fitted it this afternoon with the small male end toward the MC (front).
