Tobias or not tobias?

Hi All,

My first time here on the PH TVR section. I have been in the midst of a Griff500 rebuild which I bought as a unfinished project.

So as you can imagine I got alot of parts and no clue where they all came from. Something I have come across using alot of good rebuild diaries is this image:



^^I dont have what ever that is showing on the bracket that shows the brake line going in. ^^

Anyway!

So I have just bought the Verpooten brake kit and a few other bits

Now my load of spares was missing all brakes likes and the T piece rear split.

My question is this. I have the Verpooten brake kit and as you can see, 3 large lengths of pipe with 1 short length and 2 really short all 6 have 1x Male and 1x female fixing.

My copper T piece has 3 female fixings.

So do I need the "WHATEVER IT IS CALLED" (assuming it is a bias valve) which will then explain why Verpooten front to rear pipe has a female fixing where it should be a male which I was thinking should go to the T piece?

So just to sum this up.... HELP!!

That is as you guessed the brake bias valve which has female connections iirc

Thank you,so both ends are female. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I really really appreciate that. Looking forward to scouring the PH forums for info.
