Brembo e38 calipers upgrade
Discussion
Good morning all. In the process of gathering the parts together to upgrade my 4.3 precat with front brembos and rs mk 1 discs. My question is relating to the caliper brackets. What i would like to know, are the tvr griffs hubs sierra 2wd cosworth or 1.8/2.0 litre standard; or doesn't it matter? I have tried contacting caprisport with no success so thought I would ask you guys
Cosworth 2wd hubs, I did the first set back in 2013

Your right I did say that and now I'm confused, I got caprisport (oldphone bloke on eBay) to supply the correct brackets for the griff hubs, can only suggest contacting him to clear it up properly
I now recall having read that link again that the guy definitely stated the cossie brackets wouldn't fit, but he would drill them to suit the normal sierra hub. So I was wrong originally stating cossie 2wd hubs

Hi I've just done the E38'and 324 mm focus disc upgrade.
I got the calipers and brackets from old phone bloke and yes they do fit our hubs,
You will likely need some shims to centre calipers and I ordered the ones as in the thread started bynChimpongas
You'll need to tap out the holes in the hub and I screwed the bolts supplied through the hub and added a nut on the back for extra bracing.
Other than that it's very simple and improves the braking immensely.

I'm fairly sure they aren't standard 2wd Sierra hubs but this is from memory going back a few years.
When one of my wheel bearings was going I bought a couple of hubs from a place which make kit race day cars - can't even remember the name of them now - on the basis they were 2wd Sierra hubs and would bolt on.
They didn't and I had to have the steering track rod end hole reemed out - which cost me nearly as much as the hubs did in the first place.
So either ours aren't 2wd Sierra hubs or he sold me something which wasn't. I wouldn't swear either way.
So if you aren't sure if it will fit check out the size of the TRE fitting.
If it helps I have my old hubs on the shelf and can measure anything.
