I've just noticed that my 400 has a 500 ecu fitted...Is this a problem? It drove around for a few weeks, before I started the resto...

Is it running ok? You could check the fueling with Roverguage to see if the map is staying in range or not. Also, speak with Jules at kits and classics or stevesprint and they will probably burn you a 4.0 one for a few £ to cover their costs and postage.

It always smelled rich, to me...What about the Mark Adams chip?
Although, to be honest, I'm building a 4.3 bv, in a few months time, so was going to go Canems, or another stand alone...I think I'll contact Jules, and see how much to burn a 400...

Open up the ECU and check whats written on the chip as this is what counts. If its wrong there are plenty of maps available, its just a case of blowing a chip with the correct one in it- I ll ping you a mail.
