Naaa this it what it says......
"TVR GRIFFITH 4.0 Pre Cat , 1992 K Reg , 32,000 miles, Silk Violet with Mulberry Leather. What a crisp example this is, original Oz Racing alloys, TVR history, old MOTs etc., noisier than my 22 stone girlfriend snoring after a night on the stellas, a pack of woodbines and a ruby!"

I think I saw their Chim being test driven along the A414 last Sunday. I gave the driver a friendly wave as I passed before planting the throttle & watching him dissappear in the rear-view.
I expect he will have gone back and bought the Griff after that

That car has been up for sale since October.... Shhhhhhhh... I might be able to knock him on the price when I am ready to buy.
I like the looks of this one (expensive though I think)..... But a few to look at before I jump in with both feet.
It's well pricey for a 4.0 - I guess that's why it hasn't sold. I love the interior - not sure about the 'silk violet' - not being a silk cut man or a smoker at all...
Hey guys, Guess what... you know that car you are commenting on, well its MINE! (as from Friday last week!) The Violet silk actually looks great (more of a soft lilacy silver) and in some light it looks more silver. I admit it'd look better with a black hood, but its in great shape none the less. It was a tad pricey, but I beat him down 750 so not so bad after all. Wildy

Good for you - enjoy!
I haven't met the 22 stoner, but she sounds awsome! Greg the owner of Riverside was a real nice guy to do business with and very helpful and patient. You can recognise him anywhere as he was made to dye his hair bright yellow for a boys weekend away! The violet griff now resides in Bishops Stortford and hopefully will make it to some meets this year, just deciding where. As for the noise...
she's smokin' (but not a woodbine in sight!)
Was gonna go and check this out myself couple a months back....me g/f figured he was a nutter! Love the colour, darlings. It was the colour in part that really attracted me too but again, er indoors not so keen. Guess also wanting a 500 came into the equasion....ended up with avus blue/mag int.500.
Still like the colour and congrats etc...
Happy
