Alarm sensitivity
Discussion
Anyone know how to reduce the sensitivity of the alarm going off in windy conditions. Damn nuisance. Also, how do I find out what alarm system is in my 94 Griff 500? I believe that it's the original factory fitted one.
Thanks

There is an adjustable sensor under the transmission tunnel cover I think - details in the bible. I had mine adjusted during a service and the nice people at the TVR Centre didn't charge me so presumably it isn't a lot of work, but I didn't fancy messing around with the trim myself.
It really worked - in fact it didn't even go off when my dopy next door neighbour reversed into the the Griff trying to get out of a parking space. He did manage to crunch the rear bumper on my Voyager on the way forward though so I guess I was lucky.
