Just to say a BIG thank you to Paul and Andrea for arranging the Growl and again making it a great event. Personally I enjoyed meeting new friends and reacquainting myself with old ones, plus all the chat and banter way into the early hours. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also, a BIG thank you to everyone for the 'Best Griffith' trophy and the kind words said by many. Its a pleasure developing parts and helping the community.

Best regards, Pete

Ditto, big thank you to Paul and Andrea for organising the Growl again this year. Great event and good to catch up with fellow nutcases. Thanks to Aaron for organising the shirts.

Peter, very well deserved winner of the trophy, not only is your car absolutely stunning and a clear winner it was most deserved for your continued contribution to the Griffith community developing quality parts and the time you spend helping others with their TVRs. beer

Also thanks to Peter for taking me out for a spin in his Griff with the new Clive Ford manifolds. My god that thing sounds epic!

Another BIG thank you from me too!
Great event and good to see so many turn out from far and wide, particularly with the uncertain and changeable weather - thanks Paul and Andrea for your efforts.

Pete, good to see you again - awesome news on the trophy - and a very deserving winner. You are a true gent and love your attention to detail, thank you for all your help.
Good to meet some of the other first timers too and their Griffs. Look forward to the next one!

We can only fall into this event when we can but always enjoy it.

I never leave empty handed, always something to buy.

Thank you from me too - sorry could only stay 2 hours although managed to get myself a piston clock (thanks V8Bart) and a brief RR session (anyone else with LOW readings or just me with an underpowered Griff?).

Not just you, I think Daz got around 310BHP, normally 345 iirc? Hoover's was 275 and is normally 300ish.

What did your get?

I was hoping to catch up with you Paul and see your bypass valve in action but I did not arrive until midday and I think I must have missed you.

I left at midday so just missed you - really loving the bypass valve as it's all about the driving experience and you can hear the noise as it's level with the driver compared to all out of the back (TVR's sound best from behind and you don't normally get to hear that best noise as a driver...).

My car was 360 lbft but low 3's bhp (can't post exact figure as Daz will get too excited)...

I would also like to thank Paul & Andrea for organising the Growl again. The accommodation, beer and food were all perfect.

Congratulations to Peter for winning the well deserved Griff cup, Peter deserves it alone for his contribution of new parts like his brilliant re-engineered dashboards, well done.

It was great to catch up with old friends and to finally put faces to PHs nickname and examine their mods close up.

Thanks again to Paul & Andrea

Thanks all.

A top weekend, capped off by wandering into Stratford and finding a superb music event on the river.

There was mention of an auction for charity, any ideas when this might kick off?

After 15 years of Griff ownership, this was my first Griff Growl biggrin

Brilliant! clap

It was great to meet fellow enthusiasts, put faces to names, share experiences and make new acquaintances.

I can’t believe the amount of work and attention to detail most of you have put into your cars, well done. I need to up my game! smile

“Peter, when can you start on my Griff?” rotate

Finally, thanks to Paul and Andrea for organising the weekend, accommodation and food. I look forward to next years and hope fully catch-up with you all at other events.

Cheers

Pete,

Congratulations on getting the Trophy for Best Griff. You deserve it for all the hard work you have done on it.

Stop sitting in the garage polishing it, get out and use it hehe

Bring the Trophy to the meet Today, Ben can photograph it and i will put on website.

Alex
